Francesco Ieriti's company "Italian Cooking Classes in Rome" made over €2,000 of unauthorised charges to my card
This page outlines my experience booking a cooking class with Italian Cooking Classes in Rome. I am sharing these details to inform others and encourage caution when booking.
What happened:
- I booked a gluten-free cooking class on their website and emailed to confirm dietary requirements as directed by their website.
- I was told after booking that I should have emailed before booking, though this was not stated on the website.
- I requested a refund but company stopped responding to emails and ignored my calls.
- Left a negative review and informed the company.
- I received an unauthorised charge of €200 after posting the review.
- Francesco threatened that he would charge my card more money unless the review was removed.
- Contacted my bank, who refunded the charge and blocked further payments.
- Several further attempts were made by the company to charge my card, including one for €2,000, all blocked by my bank.
